Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent with a passion for healthcare construction to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the construction of healthcare facilities, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.

This position will require extensive knowledge and experience in HCAI, TI, and Ground Up construction, as well as a solid understanding of OSHPD compliance and OSHPD 1. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing healthcare construction projects from start to finish.
• Ensure all projects comply with healthcare regulations and standards, including OSHPD compliance and HCA.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and resolving any work-related issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship.
• Manage project schedules, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress and any potential delays.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, ensuring all work is carried out according to plan.
• Implement and maintain health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
• Manage project budget, ensuring all work is carried out within the allocated budget.
• Handle any on-site issues or emergencies, implementing solutions promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare construction management.
• Proven experience in Construction Renovations, HCAI, TI, Ground Up construction.
• Thorough understanding of OSHPD compliance and OSHPD 1.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee and coordinate a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders and keep them informed of project progress.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle any on-site issues or emergencies effectively.
• Solid understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring all work complies with these.
• Experience in managing project budgets and schedules.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Certification in healthcare construction (e.g., Certified Healthcare Constructor) is a plus.
