Position Overview
As a Superintendent you will play a significant part in the success of Kiewit. You will function as a field supervisor and may have responsibility for multiple Foremen, and craft workers. You will be responsible for the organization, work methods, scheduling, cost control, conformity with drawings and specification, workmanship, and assignment of work to accomplish the execution of the work, either directly or through General Foreman or Foremen. You will also work to maintain positive working relationships with clients, architect/engineer, suppliers, subcontractors, and jobsite staff.
We are adding Superintendents to work on a major upgrade to I-80 with the construction of a new Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility that will increase inspection capacity while reducing traffic congestion. This is a $152M project with an estimated completion date of 2/2029.

Kiewit's Northern California District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in various types of work in the heavy civil, power, transportation, and water resource markets. Although most of our work is regionally based in Northern California, we also pursue various projects across the west coast. Base Compensation: $120,000/yr - $145,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
