A bit about us:

Our client is a family-owned heavy highway contractor with a long-standing presence in the Kansas City market. This company performs asphalt paving, concrete construction, cold milling, earthwork, grading, and other heavy civil work for municipalities, DOTs, commercial developers, and private owners.

Our client is looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations, coordinate crews and equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.

Job Details

• 5+ years of construction experience, preferably in heavy highway or heavy civil construction.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
• Strong understanding of heavy highway, roadway, paving, concrete, earthwork, or civil construction.
• Experience coordinating field crews, equipment, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
• Ability to manage project schedules and daily production.
• Experience working with owners, engineers, inspectors, and project managers.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Ability to track project costs and production.
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to solve field issues and keep projects moving.
• HeavyJob experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work throughout the Kansas City metro area.
