  • Build and maintain strong vendor relations and subcontractor performance; negotiate scope clarifications and resolve claims or disputes.
  • Train and mentor site staff and subcontractor teams on procedures, quality expectations, and customer-focused service during handover.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing representative on-site, communicating progress, managing expectations, and responding to operational or customer-service concerns.
  • Conduct final inspections, coordinate permitting and health-regulation sign-offs, and lead turnover to operations with thorough documentation and training.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices to streamline workflows, improve cost control, and enhance team performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice approvals; ability to manage project-level budgets and report variances.
  • Familiarity with inventory management practices and on-site materials control.
  • Working knowledge of health regulations, permitting, and building codes applicable to restaurants and foodservice operations.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills; comfortable serving as the primary client contact during construction.
  • Experience delivering staff training and developing site teams to meet quality and safety standards (nice to have).
  • Proven vendor relations skills and the ability to negotiate scope and resolve disputes
  • Track record of implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency
