SUMMARYMortenson is currently seeking an experiencedConcrete Superintendentin our Power Delivery Group with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment,remainingflexible, resourceful,proactiveand efficient witha high levelof professionalism and confidentiality.This individual will have the aptitude to anticipate problems, critical issues, and opportunities as they arise; along with the capability to creatively problem-solve and bring together viable solutions. The Superintendent willbe responsible forproviding coordination, planning, and supervision to assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a particular area of discipline. Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service.RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and implement to ensure all concrete materials, equipment, and inspections support the project scheduleReview construction documents for completeness and constructabilityNavigate through 3D models as a building tool and convey to 3D Modelers how elements should be modeled to improve the building processUnderstand the required sizing of pours from both a spec requirement and a labor approachReview and understand contract documentsCoordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepanciesDevelop and manage project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedulesDevelop a sitelogisticsplanManage theutilizationof Mortenson tools and equipmentCollaborate with project partner superintendentsConduct on-site project orientations and effective pre-construction planning sessions and site meetingsSupervise project partners, craftforemen, and crewsMentor, manage, and evaluate Assistant Superintendents, General Foremen, and ForemenInterview, hire, transfer, and, if needed,terminatecraft team membersEnsure proper task coding of work hours on timecardsManage and track work progress and craft productivityEnsure craft team member training is current prior to starting tasksConduct career development discussions withforemenand craft team membersProvide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance for the project and team membersRecognize and mitigate unfavorable working conditionsIdentifyopportunities to improve processes and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSAssociate's orbachelor's degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or 10 years trade experienceMinimum ten years construction experienceMinimum five years' experience as a Concrete Foreman, preferably in the energy industryExperience with foundation for energy infrastructure projects (solar, substation, etc.)Directed large concrete crews (over 50 craft workers)Proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksPossess basic understanding of construction law andgenerally acceptedbusiness practicesMicrosoft Office skills at an intermediate levelProven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesCurrent driver's licenseFamiliar with various forming systems and can evaluate and select based on the element being constructedUnderstanding of the required sizing of pours from both a spec requirement and a labor approachUnderstanding of labor trackingCurrent driver's licenseA few benefits offered include:(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)Medical and prescription drug plans that includes noadditionalcost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $108,600 MIN - $162,900 MAX.(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.#LI-TD1 #LI-onsitePlease make note:Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.Ourpostingsare typicallyopena minimum of 5 days and an average of44 days.ABOUT MORTENSONAs a top builder, developer, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), ourexpertisespans markets like sports, renewable energy, data centers, healthcare, and more.
