Job Title: Superintendent (Onsite)

Position Overview:
This is a full-time, on-site position based at an active construction project. The Superintendent oversees the coordination, execution, and overall management of one or more construction projects to ensure they are completed on budget, on schedule, and in accordance with established quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly detail-focused, well-versed in various building systems, and capable of performing the following responsibilities, along with other duties as assigned from time to time:


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction project(s) to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Review and interpret drawings and specifications to develop a comprehensive technical understanding of commercial, industrial, and residential construction requirements.
  • Acquire materials and subcontracted services in a timely manner and in compliance with contract documents.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of various building systems.
  • Independently supervise multiple work scopes, including both subcontracted trades and self-performed activities.
  • Organize, monitor, and maintain project documentation such as submittals, shop drawings, as-built drawings, RFIs, pay applications, and related correspondence.
  • Maintain and update the project schedule to support on-time completion.
  • Support subcontractor oversight and coordinate trade activities to maintain workflow and sequencing.
  • Inspect and confirm that all work aligns with contract documents, specifications, and approved submittals.
  • Direct assigned portions of the project closeout process, including punch list completion, O&M manuals, warranty documentation, and owner training requirements.
  • Complete quantity take-offs and assist with estimating efforts, securing competitive pricing during the bidding phase.
  • Facilitate recurring jobsite meetings, including owner and trade coordination meetings.
  • Promote and actively participate in maintaining a safe jobsite environment.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will exhibit proven interpersonal abilities when working with diverse individuals and groups, including clients, subcontractors, team members, field personnel, and company leadership. The ideal applicant will also demonstrate strong relationship-building capabilities, clear and effective communication skills, and the capacity to organize, assess, and analyze information while proactively identifying solutions and guiding others toward successful outcomes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management
  • Extensive tilt-up experience (12+ projects)
  • Minimum 5 years of construction management and or engineering experience preferred
  • Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software preferred
  • Experience with Procore Construction Software preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test
