Job Details

You’ll lead the day-to-day field operations of commercial tenant improvement projects, working closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, building management, subcontractors, inspectors, and your field team.


You are the frontline leader on the jobsite. That means owning the schedule, coordinating the trades, maintaining a safe and organized site, protecting quality, communicating with the project team, and solving the inevitable construction problems that show up between kickoff and punch.


Responsibilities:

1. Lead on-site operations across commercial interiors and TI projects, from mobilization to closeout
2. Build and manage master and Look-Ahead Schedules, keeping milestones on track
3. Direct Subcontractor Coordination, including trade sequencing, manpower and weekly field meetings
4. Oversee MEP Coordination and coordinate finish trades in active, fast-paced environments
5. Enforce Jobsite Safety programs and maintain CAL-OSHA compliance
6. Own Quality Control by walking the work daily against drawings and specs
7. Manage RFIs, Submittals and field documentation in Procore and Bluebeam
8. Maintain accurate Daily Logs of labor, progress, deliveries, inspections and issues
9. Coordinate and pass City Inspections
10. Track T&M and support Change Orders alongside the Project Manager
11. Communicate on-site with clients, architects and property teams
12. Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field crews
13. Drive Punch List completion, turnover and Project Closeout

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Superintendent-level Field Leadership in commercial construction
• General contractor background required
• Commercial interiors / tenant improvement experience strongly preferred
• Strong command of building codes, CAL-OSHA, schedules, RFIs and Submittals
• Procore, Bluebeam and MS Project preferred
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR preferred
