General Superintendent
Locations: Orlando, FL | Naples, FL | Jacksonville, FL
Pay: Starting at $39/hr (based on experience)
Position Summary
TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to provide leadership and strategic direction for field operations across multiple construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards while supporting field leadership teams and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for multiple active construction projects
Supervise, mentor, and develop Superintendents and field leadership personnel
Coordinate manpower planning, resource allocation, and equipment utilization across projects
Conduct regular job site visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance
Partner with Project Managers and Operations leadership to review project schedules, budgets, and progress
Collaborate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve project challenges
Ensure accurate and timely completion of project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, timekeeping, and as-built drawings
Support project startup, execution, and closeout activities
Drive compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational best practices
Identify opportunities to improve field operations, efficiency, and project outcomes
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
10–15 years of progressive construction experience required
Minimum of 5 years in a senior supervisory, superintendent, or multi-project leadership role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and field operations
Ability to calculate project costs, labor budgets, gross margins, and profitability metrics
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
Familiarity with CAD/BIM software and construction technology tools preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to travel between project sites as needed
Work performed in both office and active construction site environments
Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and navigating construction sites
Must be able to work safely in varying weather and site conditions
Adherence to all company and site-specific safety requirements
