We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Superintendent with a proven track record in the construction industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project and construction management, scheduling, contract management, safety management, budgeting, subcontractor management, and cost control. This role requires an individual who can navigate the complexities of large-scale construction projects while ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality. The Superintendent will oversee all on-site operations from pre-construction to project completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role is perfect for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
5. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
6. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
7. Ensure project activities comply with company and government regulations concerning health, safety, and environment.
8. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress, and cost tracking reports.
9. Develop and implement quality control programs.
10. Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
11. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction management role.
3. Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects.
4. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction contract management, project scheduling, and budgeting.
6. Strong leadership and management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
8. Superior knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
9. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
10. Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
11. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
12. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
