Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Building and Construction Superintendent to oversee construction operations on a variety of projects in and around Kennett Square, PA. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating field activities, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and promoting a strong culture of safety.

Description

• Oversee all on-site construction activities and daily operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure project success.
• Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment needs.

• Resolve field issues efficiently and effectively.

Profile

A successful Building and Construction Superintendent should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial, industrial, institutional, or residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors on active job sites.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling and site coordination.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
