Job Description

Construction Superintendent

A growing design-build, general contracting, and development firm is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation projects across commercial, multifamily, industrial, and residential sectors. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day construction site operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to meet project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards.
  • Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project activities and site conditions.
  • Resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise during project execution.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of construction superintendent experience managing commercial, multifamily, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple subcontractor trades.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
