Description
- Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects ranging from approximately $2M to $20M.
- Oversee project schedules, site logistics, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and quality control.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, clients, design teams, and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead construction activities within hospitality, retail, automotive, life science, academic, corporate interiors, and other commercial sectors.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field-related issues.
- Maintain project documentation and communication using construction management tools and best practices.
- Ensure all work meets company safety standards, client expectations, and project milestones.
- Report directly to a Senior Superintendent and work closely with the broader project team.
- Travel to project sites throughout New England as required, with opportunities to support projects outside the local market.
- Support a growing portfolio of projects including automotive dealerships, hospitality developments, and defense-related work.
Profile
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
- Stable work history with demonstrated project tenure and limited employment gaps.
- Experience managing commercial projects valued between $2M and $20M.
- Strong knowledge of field operations, subcontractor management, scheduling, and jobsite safety.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL).
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region as needed.
- Residence within the North Shore of Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, or Maine preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, retail, and automotive construction projects.
- Exposure to defense, life science, academic, or corporate interior projects.
- LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification.
- Experience using construction management software such as Procore and related technologies.
