Superintendent
A full-service general contracting firm located in Kansas City is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a local Kansas City project, but they are open to Midwest travel after.
Job Description
- Manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to meet project milestones.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and logs.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Travel frequently to various project sites as required.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, is preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of field experience as a Superintendent.
- Experience with commercial projects is required, with a preference for retail and restaurant projects.
- A proven track record in managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
- The ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- A focus on delivering high-quality results while staying on schedule.
