Superintendent for Local Kansas City Project

They are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent for a local Kansas City project, but then open to Midwest travel after.
Job Description
- Manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction teams to maintain project quality and safety standards.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and enforce site safety protocols to create a secure working environment for all team members.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, and clients to provide updates on progress and address any issues.
- Oversee the scheduling and delivery of materials and equipment to maintain project timelines.
- Conduct inspections to ensure work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with project specifications.
- Resolve any on-site issues or delays effectively and efficiently.

The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, is preferred but not required
- 5+ years of field experience as a Superintendent
- Experience with commercial projects is required, with a preference for retail and restaurant projects
- A proven track record in managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
- The ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- A focus on delivering high-quality results while staying on schedule.
