Superintendent for Local Kansas City Project
A full-service general contracting firm located in Kansas City is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a local Kansas City project, but then open to Midwest travel after.
Job Description
- Manage daily on-site construction operations to ensure timely progress and quality outcomes.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to align schedules and resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the construction process.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, addressing any potential delays or cost overruns.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to blueprints and quality standards.
- Resolve on-site issues and provide solutions to maintain project flow.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on project status and site activities.
- Foster clear communication among all stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, is preferred but not required
- 5+ years of field experience as a Superintendent
- Experience with commercial projects is required, with a preference for retail and restaurant projects
- A proven track record in managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
- The ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- A focus on delivering high-quality results while staying on schedule.
