Client Details

A well-established West Coast general contractor is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex DSA/K-12 education projects throughout the Los Angeles market.
This role is ideal for a construction leader with strong field operations experience managing occupied campus environments, public works compliance, aggressive schedules, and large subcontractor teams.

Description

  • Lead all on-site construction operations from mobilization through closeout
  • Manage project schedules, site logistics, safety, and quality control
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, consultants, and owner representatives
  • Oversee DSA inspections, documentation, and compliance processes
  • Drive production while maintaining safety and project standards
  • Mentor field staff, including Assistant Superintendents and Foremen
  • Conduct owner meetings and maintain strong client relationships
  • Coordinate with Project Management teams to maintain budgets and schedules

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Strong background delivering DSA/K-12 or public works projects
  • Experience managing projects in occupied campus environments
  • Knowledge of California building codes, OSHA, and DSA processes
  • Proven ability leading large field teams and subcontractor coordination
  • Strong scheduling and leadership skills
  • Stable work history with reputable general contractors preferred
