Description
- Oversee day-to-day site operations across commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain productivity and efficient workflow.
- Develop, manage, and update project schedules in coordination with the wider project team.
- Conduct site inspections and enforce health and safety procedures, quality control standards, and relevant building regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep construction activities on track.
- Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, equipment requirements, and site access.
- Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to identify potential conflicts and resolve site issues.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, safety records, and progress updates.
- Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, and final handover.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and site operations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage site teams effectively.
- Experience managing project schedules, site logistics, and construction milestones.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify site issues proactively and implement practical solutions.
- Proficiency with construction management software and standard project documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and field personnel.
Job Offer
