Job Description
Oversee day-to-day site operations across commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain productivity and efficient workflow. Develop, manage, and update project schedules in coordination with the wider project team. Conduct site inspections and enforce health and safety procedures, quality control standards, and relevant building regulations. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep construction activities on track. Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, equipment requirements, and site access. Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Review construction drawings and specifications to identify potential conflicts and resolve site issues. Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, safety records, and progress updates. Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, and final handover.

The Successful Applicant
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial construction projects. Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and site operations. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage site teams effectively. Experience managing project schedules, site logistics, and construction milestones. Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify site issues proactively and implement practical solutions. Proficiency with construction management software and standard project documentation. Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and field personnel.
