Job Description

The responsibilities of a Superintendent:

• Manage daily field operations for commercial mechanical construction projects
• Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and jobsite activities
• Coordinate project schedules, sequencing, and workforce planning
• Monitor project budgets, productivity, and cost control measures
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Conduct site meetings and maintain communication with project stakeholders
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Coordinate installation of HVAC, ductwork, sheet metal, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Identify and resolve jobsite challenges to maintain project schedules
• Maintain quality standards throughout all phases of construction

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent:

• 5+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects
• HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical, or MEP project experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage jobsite operations
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, sequencing, and cost management
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• OSHA 30 certification preferred or demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Knowledge of HVAC construction, ductwork, sheet metal, plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment preferred
