TRC Talent Solutions has partnered with a nationally recognized general contractor founded in 1998 that specializes in high-quality commercial construction across the United States. The organization is a trusted delivery partner in the retail and industrial sectors, providing full lifecycle project execution from preconstruction through close-out.
This role is responsible for leading all on-site construction activities for large box retail and industrial storage facility projects, including interior build-outs. The Superintendent will oversee field execution, coordinate subcontractors, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and drive projects to successful completion across multiple U.S. job sites. This is a travel-heavy leadership role requiring strong field management expertise and the ability to maintain schedule and quality under dynamic site conditions.
Oversee all field operations from project mobilization through close-out
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel across multiple trades
Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager
Ensure work is executed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
Enforce OSHA compliance and jobsite safety protocols at all times
Conduct daily site walks and maintain accurate field documentation and reporting
Lead safety meetings and reinforce safe work practices across all crews
Coordinate inspections, testing, and authority approvals as required
Manage site logistics including deliveries, staging, and material organization
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to protect project schedule
Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and provide progress updates
Drive punch list completion and final project close-out activities
5–10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Strong background in large box retail and industrial storage facility construction
Experience with interior build-outs and tenant improvement projects
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 strongly preferred
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the U.S.
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project schedules
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with construction management software (Procore preferred) and Microsoft Office
