Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Location: Biloxi, MS

We're partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor along the Mississippi Gulf Coast that is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with a company that has a strong backlog of work and a diverse project portfolio. While they're ideally seeking someone with experience in light industrial and metal building construction, they also complete a wide range of healthcare, education, federal, and commercial projects throughout the Gulf Coast region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations from project start through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe jobsite.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors.
• Lead jobsite meetings and resolve field issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects.
• Exposure to light industrial and metal building projects is highly preferred.
• Experience with healthcare, education, federal, or other commercial projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
