Job Details

Job Details / Responsibilities:

Lead on-site construction operations for retail (Walmart/Sam's Club), grocery (Publix), and hotel projects from start to finish
Manage night-shift activities ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget control
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and self-performed work on-site
Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site at all times
Conduct daily progress meetings, track production, and resolve field issues promptly
Maintain accurate daily reports, photos, and documentation for project records
Collaborate closely with preconstruction, project management, and client teams
Oversee constructability, sequencing, and logistics for complex night-shift work
Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and all applicable codes
Participate in project hand-offs and post-project reviews
Travel as needed throughout the Southeast to support active projects

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects
Specific experience with Walmart / Sam's Club projects (highly preferred)
Solid background as Hotel Superintendent (open to strong candidates outside standard salary range)
Night shift experience on retail or grocery projects (Publix experience strongly preferred)
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Southeast US
Strong leadership and team management skills in fast-paced environments
