We are seeking an experienced Building and Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure the successful execution of construction projects throughout Philadelphia. This role is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Description
- Lead and manage all onsite construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections and enforce safety regulations and company policies.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to achieve project objectives.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, field issues, and construction challenges.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Manage site logistics, equipment, and material deliveries.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
Profile
A successful Building and Construction Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
- Experience managing projects ranging from $5M to $50M+ preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and quality control practices.
- Proven ability to lead multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites.
