Superintendent - Public Work - CT - $150k

• Lead on-site construction operations for public K-12 projects valued between $50M and $60M.
• Manage daily field activities, subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality control.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, owners, architects, and consultants.
• Drive project execution while maintaining budget, schedule, and safety objectives.
• Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and oversee site logistics.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and site communication.

A successful Superintendent - Public Work should have:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a true Superintendent role.
• Proven experience delivering public K-12 construction projects valued at $20M+.
• Experience working for reputable general contractors with strong operational processes.
• Strong understanding of field operations, scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor management.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated history of stable employment and commitment to long-term career growth.
• Experience in education, healthcare, institutional, or similar public-sector construction environments preferred.
