Superintendent - Raleigh - Commercial Upfits

We are seeking a Superintendent to lead the field execution of commercial construction projects throughout the Raleigh-Durham market, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to manage day-to-day site operations, build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, and serve as a key leader on a variety of interior renovation and upfit projects.

Description

• • Oversee daily field operations from project kickoff through final completion.
  • Manage project schedules and coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain milestones.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance across all jobsite operations.
  • Maintain quality control throughout construction and promptly address field issues.
  • Serve as the primary on-site representative for clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate inspections, site logistics, and project documentation.
  • Lead and direct subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to proactively resolve schedule, budget, and constructability challenges.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support project closeout activities and ensure a smooth turnover to the client.

Profile

• Experience serving as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules.
• Knowledge of jobsite safety standards and quality control practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

• Experience with office interiors, corporate upfits, healthcare, hospitality, or life science projects.
• Familiarity with the Raleigh-Durham/Triangle construction market.
• Experience working for a commercial general contractor on renovation or occupied-space projects.
