THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Superintendent, you'll lead day-to-day construction operations and take ownership of the safety, quality, schedule, coordination, and organization of your jobsite. You'll work closely with Project Management, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, architects, inspectors, and other project partners to successfully deliver each project.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who communicates clearly, solves problems proactively, and takes pride in running a safe, organized, and high-performing jobsite.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead construction site activities from project startup through delivery
- Champion jobsite safety and ensure Pavilion's safety expectations are consistently communicated and followed
- Develop, maintain, and communicate four-week production schedules in coordination with the Project Manager
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and day-to-day field operations
- Hold trade partners accountable to scope, schedule, quality, and project expectations
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents; identify conflicts and drive timely resolutions
- Manage field documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, submittals, daily reports, photographs, record drawings, and as-builts
- Lead site coordination and weekly safety meetings
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional jobsite that reflects Pavilion's standards
- Support quality assurance, punch list, and project closeout activities
- Proactively identify and resolve safety, quality, schedule, scope, and logistical challenges
- Lead, mentor, and develop Pavilion field staff and Assistant Superintendents, when applicable
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Strong construction field leadership and jobsite management experience
- Knowledge of construction safety, quality assurance, scheduling, and field coordination
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors, suppliers, and project priorities
- Confidence working with clients, architects, inspectors, trade partners, and internal teams
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
