A Superintendent / Construction Supervisor / BAS Installation Superintendent is required to join an industry leader within mission-critical and hyperscale environments in Reno, NV
The Superintendent / Construction Supervisor / BAS Installation Superintendent will come from a strong Building Automation (BAS/DDC) background, with proven experience leading functional testing and commissioning phases on complex projects, ideally within data center or critical facility environments.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement installation plans to ensure all aspects of the construction project (mechanical, electrical, and technology) meet the specified requirements
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, safety standards, and building codes
Lead and manage the installation team, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure project milestones are achieved on time
Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with installation contractor, vendors, and suppliers
Manage and resolve any issues during installation, quality checks, and commissioning processes, including drafting and submitting RFIs related to concerns
Document all installation activities, including test results, F.O.A.K. scheduling, system performance, deficiencies, and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders
Attend required meetings, including logistics, field coordination walks, quality walks, project status walks, BIM issues, and pull plan scheduling meetings
Ensure installation tasks are carried out cost-effectively and efficiently
Ensure accurate as-built documentation and support the installation team on equipment installation
Review shop drawings and provide specification and installation requirement summaries to ensure efficient implementation in the field
Utilize VDC (BIM) model to coordinate and provide clash detection support to trade partners, peer contractors, and low voltage subcontractors
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or at least 6 years of industry-related experience
Low-voltage electrical installation and mechanical installation experience preferred
Automation integration experience is a plus
6+ years of construction industry experience, including at least 4 years of supervision of crew sizes of at least 8 team members
In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations
Strong interactive communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening
Experience with Autodesk BIM products, Procore, Smartsheet, or other Project Management Software
Experience with Data Center / Critical Facility Automation systems
Ability to work on an active construction site, including walking long distances over rough terrain, climbing ladders, using lifts, and lifting up to 30lbs
