Job Details:
We are looking for a Superintendent for some projects in NYC. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects within the senior living, hospitality, retail, and health club sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supervising on-site personnel and subcontractors, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Ensuring all projects comply with safety and building regulations, as well as budget and timeline constraints.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship.
  • Resolving any issues, problems, or delays that occur on the construction site.
  • Providing regular updates and reports on project status to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent who has overseen ground up work within commercial, retail, health clubs, restaurants, or something similar.
  • Valid NYC construction superintendent registration.
  • Extensive experience working in NYC's five boroughs.
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects within the senior living, hospitality, retail, and health club sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
