Job Description
The Responsibilities of a Superintendent:
- Lead all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Maintain project schedules and drive progress to meet milestone requirements
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all project regulations
- Oversee quality control and ensure work is completed to project specifications
- Manage site logistics, workforce planning, and daily construction operations
- Conduct site meetings and provide project status updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout activities
- Foster a positive jobsite culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and performance

The Successful Applicant
The Successful Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial construction projects
- Proven ability to run projects independently from groundbreaking through turnover
- Experience managing large-scale renovations and/or ground-up construction projects valued at $30M+
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct field teams and subcontractors
- Experience with educational, municipal, commercial, or institutional projects preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards
