    Description



    Key Responsibilities (R&R)

    Field Operations & Project Execution

    ·       Own and lead all daily jobsite operations, including supervision of subcontractors, field staff, deliveries, and site logistics

    ·       Execute the construction schedule with discipline, focusing on unit sequencing, floor-by-floor progression, trade stacking, and turnover milestones

    ·       Maintain full control of short-term (3-week look-aheads) and long-range schedules; anticipate constraints and resolve conflicts proactively

    ·       Coordinate and facilitate all inspections (AHJ, third-party, owner, lender) and ensure compliance with contract documents and approved submittals

    ·       Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite, with special attention to resident-adjacent or occupied environments when applicable



    Safety, Quality & Compliance

    ·       Champion a safety-first culture—safety is non-negotiable

    ·       Enforce OSHA, company, and project-specific safety requirements at all times

    ·       Lead daily safety planning, toolbox talks, and corrective actions

    ·       Enforce quality standards with a focus on first-in-place mockups, unit consistency, and repeatable excellence

    ·       Identify, document, and correct deficiencies early to minimize rework and schedule impact



    Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

    ·       Supervise, mentor, and develop Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers

    ·       Set clear expectations for performance, accountability, and professionalism

    ·       Serve as the primary field liaison with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Inspectors, and Property Management teams

    ·       Lead foremen meetings, daily huddles, and coordination efforts to maintain workflow and prevent trade conflicts

    ·       Support preconstruction efforts including constructability reviews, schedule input, logistics planning, and buyout scope alignment



    Documentation, Controls & Closeout

    ·       Maintain accurate, real-time field documentation in Procore, including:

    o   Daily reports

    o   Progress photos

    o   RFIs and field coordination

    o   As-built documentation

    o   Short-term look-aheads

    ·       Track manpower loading, productivity trends, and site logistics needs

    ·       Lead punch list execution, phased unit turnovers, and final closeout

    ·       Ensure complete and timely turnover documentation and end-user / property management training



    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    ·       Zero recordable safety incidents and consistent safety compliance

    ·       Weekly schedule adherence with reliable, updated look-aheads

    ·       Successful execution of unit turnovers and milestone dates

    ·       Minimal rework and strong quality outcomes across repetitive scopes

    ·       Accurate, timely field documentation in Procore

    ·       Subcontractor accountability, performance, and coordination

    ·       On-time project closeout and owner acceptance



    Required Experience & Qualifications

    ·       Multifamily and/or Student Housing construction experience – REQUIRED

    ·       7–15 years of field leadership experience on residential or mixed-use projects valued at $25M+

    ·       Demonstrated success managing unit-based schedules, trade stacking, and high-volume workflows

    ·       Strong working knowledge of framing, MEP rough-ins, drywall, finishes, and building envelope systems

    ·       Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office

    ·       OSHA 30-Hour required; NPDES Blue Card and Procore certifications preferred (or obtained during onboarding)

    ·       Confident leader with strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
