Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join their client's team within the electrical construction industry. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful completion of projects by managing field employees and overseeing project operations. The position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment.
  • Manage field employees on assigned projects, including personnel management, project preparation, start-up, control, completion, and customer relations.
  • Conduct thorough project preparation and ensure all necessary materials and resources are available.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relations, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout all project phases.
  • Support the development and implementation of best practices in project management and personnel management.

Qualifications

  • Current Driver's License and Journeyman or Master Electrician credentials.
  • High School diploma or GED and completion of a 4-year Apprenticeship program.
  • 8+ years of electrical experience, with at least 4 years in a Foreman role.

Skills

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, conduit bending, and operation of power tools and equipment.
  • Ability to manage trenching, lift operations, and perform work on energized circuits.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise jobsite employees effectively.
  • Commitment to safety compliance and the ability to conduct safety training as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, and climb ladders.
  • Capacity to lift up to 51 pounds and perform overhead work.
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, during 1st shift hours.
