Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with day-to-day site operations, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors and self-performed crews
  • Supporting superintendent in maintaining safety, quality control, and compliance with project specifications
  • Monitoring progress against schedules and helping resolve field-level issues efficiently
  • Participating in inspections, punch lists, and coordinating with inspectors and owners' representatives
  • Helping maintain site documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress photos
  • Coordinating material deliveries, equipment, and manpower needs on active job sites

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in construction field supervision or assistant superintendent roles
  • Exposure to transportation or infrastructure-related projects preferred
  • Experience with maritime bridge repairs, light rail structural work, or walkway panel replacements is a strong plus
  • Ability to read drawings, coordinate crews, and support schedule execution
  • Willingness to work on projects across the Norfolk and Richmond, VA area
