Superintendent - Water/Wastewater - New Bedford, MA

Description

• Lead all day-to-day field operations on an active wastewater infrastructure project in New Bedford, MA
• Manage project schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and self-perform crews
• Coordinate underground utility installation activities, including deep excavation work
• Maintain a safe and productive jobsite while enforcing company safety standards
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure cost, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved
• Conduct regular meetings with field personnel, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues
• Oversee project documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements

Profile

A successful Superintendent - Water/Wastewater should have:

• Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent running projects independently
• Strong background in site work and underground utility construction (required)
• Experience managing deep excavation projects, including work approximately 25 feet below grade
• Wastewater, pump station, or water infrastructure experience preferred
• Ability to lead field teams, coordinate multiple trades, and drive project schedules
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license and ability to commute to New Bedford, MA
• Willingness to support projects primarily throughout the South Shore region following completion of the current assignment

Job Offer

• Base salary: $125,000 - $165,000
• Performance-based bonus opportunity
