Job Description
The Superintendent - Civil will:
- Lead all field operations for a major pump station and utility construction project.
- Manage subcontractors, crews, schedules, safety programs, and project logistics.
- Coordinate daily activities to keep work progressing on time and within budget.
- Oversee complex underground utility installation and deep excavation work.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and field teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
- Drive project milestones through completion while maintaining strong site leadership.
- Support multiple projects throughout the South Shore region as business needs evolve.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Superintendent - Civil should have:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent leading construction projects independently.
- Strong background in site work and underground utility construction.
- Comfortable managing deep excavation projects with depth of approximately 25 feet.
- Wastewater, pump station, or water infrastructure experience preferred.
- Ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and project schedules effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to commute to New Bedford, MA and travel throughout the South Shore region.
What's on Offer
Upon offer, the Superintendent - Civil will receive:
- Base salary: $125,000 - $165,000 USD (depending on experience)
- Performance bonus opportunity.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Company covers 75% of health premiums and 100% of deductible costs.
- 401(k) with 2% company contribution plus 3% safe harbor match.
- 15 days PTO, increasing to 20 days after 5 years.
