Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Building and Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial construction projects throughout the West Chester and Greater Philadelphia market. This role is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Description

• Manage all day-to-day field operations throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestone achievement.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor safety, quality, and progress.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate project expectations.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve field issues proactively.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to achieve project objectives.
• Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and progress updates.
• Oversee inspections, punch-list completion, and project closeout activities.

Profile

A successful Building and Construction Superintendent should have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencing.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, quality control, and safety procedures.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software is a plus.
