A bit about us:Our client is a well-established construction organization with experience delivering complex commercial and industrial projects. The company is known for taking on challenging builds and bringing together strong field and project management teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This company is seeking an experienced Ground-Up Superintendent to lead field operations for a major warehouse construction project in Upstate New York.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a Superintendent who knows how to take a project from dirt to turnover. You’ll oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, maintain project schedules, and serve as a key point of contact between the field team and project management.
The project is a large-scale warehouse development, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with experience managing ground-up commercial, industrial, distribution, or large-scale building projects.
Why join us?This company gives its Superintendents the opportunity to genuinely lead their projects rather than simply manage paperwork from the sidelines.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead a major ground-up warehouse project from sitework through completion
- Take ownership of day-to-day field operations
- Work alongside an experienced project management and leadership team
- Coordinate a large network of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Play a key role in maintaining project schedule, quality, and safety
- Gain experience on a high-profile, large-scale commercial project
- Build relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
- Take on meaningful responsibility and make decisions in the field
- Grow with a company that has a strong pipeline of construction work
If you're the type of Superintendent who can look at a muddy piece of land and see the finished building — and then figure out how to get everyone there on schedule — this is the kind of project that will keep you busy.
