Your Responsibilities

As a Supervisor for JD Parts Distribution Center located in Milan, IL, you will:

  • Independently plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet operational goals.
  • Foster a positive work environment through clear communication practices.
  • Ensure that assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instructions and tools to successfully do their job.
  • Determine work priorities based on the production schedule and customer needs.
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices; mentor team members in safety protocols.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and policy compliance.

What Skills You Need

  • This is a 3rd shift position. Must be able to work 3rd shift and overtime as business needs require it.
  • 1+ years of demonstrated ability to lead production teams and drive performance.
  • 1+ years of experience in workflow management and action planning.
  • 1+ years of proven ability to drive operational excellence through effective performance management-both personally and across the team.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Long Description

  • Familiarity with CIPP incentive pay systems, including performance tracking and coaching.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP EWM, including warehouse functions such as receiving, putaway, replenishment, and cartonization.
  • Proven experience working in a union environment, with knowledge of labor relations and structured performance processes.
  • Strong background in CI processes, including leading improvement projects and applying 5S methodology.

Major Purpose

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 1+ year of relevant work experience
