Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts payable functions within the organization through leading a team of accounts payable specialists, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, adhering to payment terms, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.Essential Functions-Supervise and provide leadership to the accounts payable team, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring performance.-Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures. -Review and approve high-value or complex invoices, resolving any discrepancies or issues before payment processing. -Monitor and enforce compliance with payment terms and discount opportunities, maximizing cost savings for the organization. -Maintain strong vendor relationships, addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments. -Develop and implement accounts payable policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. -Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions, vendor records, and payment processes to identify and mitigate potential risks or errors.Qualifications
