Division: Infrastructure
Location: Columbia, SC
Type: Full-Time, in-office 40 hours/week with occasional travel and/or overtime
Hiring Range: $50,000 - $57,000 annual salary
Commitment: Two-Year Commitment to The Cason Group

Our Administrative Services Team provides organizational support and customer service to co-workers, clients, and carrier partners across The Cason Group.

As a Supervisor of Administrative Services, you will supervise the operational activities of the Administrative Assistants while helping ensure the team delivers accurate, timely, and excellent service. This role is responsible for coordinating workflow, supporting team members, assisting with day-to-day administrative operations, and helping create a positive service experience and work environment.

What Our Supervisor Does:

  • Supervise Administrative Assistants: Coordinate and oversee the workload of Administrative Assistants, ensuring timelines and accuracy goals are met; schedule and conduct department and one-on-one meetings; coordinate training for new employees; conduct employee performance reviews; and schedule staff PTO in accordance with company policies.

  • Support Administrative Services Department: Assist with administrative operations including phones, mail, faxing, Enrollment Support Center phones, office supplies, and breakroom supplies, including requests from all other TCG office locations.

  • Lead with Service and Collaboration: Encourage and support the team in delivering an excellent service experience and work environment to co-workers, clients, and carrier partners by phone and in the office. Attend monthly leadership meetings and divisional meetings as needed to provide departmental updates.

  • Create Department Solutions: Develop creative solutions and process improvements that support the needs and goals of The Cason Group.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Supervisory experience with office employees and/or equivalent professional leadership experience
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor with employees and other supervisors
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer services skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using and/or administrating Microsoft Office products; knowledge of general databases
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and company information
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed
