Supervisor Assistant - 2nd Shift

As a Supervisor Assistant at Hydro-Gear, you will support production leadership by coordinating daily activities, communicating job rotations and assignments, and helping operators achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals. You will serve as a key resource on the production floor, providing guidance, promoting adherence to standards, and fostering a positive, high-performance team culture.

Core Responsibilities of Supervisor Assistant:

• Lead production operators to ensure production activities are performed safely
• Recognize roadblocks that prevent meeting goals and objectives and make suggestions
• Effectively communicate production adherence to schedule and staffing results
• Determine and communicate job assignments to production operators, maintain rotation matrix.
• Ensure operators are properly trained and certified on the equipment.
• Continuously support and encourage production operators to work as a team, be positive, grow their skills, and meet production line performance goals.
• Assist the Production Supervisor in evaluating and coaching production operators

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing leadership, lead operator, or supervisory experience.
• Ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example and work effectively with employees at all levels.
