Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a SUPERVISOR- CT to join our RADIOLOGY ADMINISTRATION team!

The CT Supervisor assumes daily responsibilities for the coordination, leadership, and development of the CT at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and the designated Clinic locations. Complies with maintaining a program which supports our philosophy and values while strengthening relationships in the region. This individual enhances patient care effectiveness and efficiency through the application of leadership principles and the establishment of relationships promoting quality care. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care within designated specialty areas. Facilitates appropriate utilization of equipment, supplies, instrumentation and staff resources in the delivery of patient care while accommodating practitioner needs. Maintains a high level of clinical expertise while serving as the primary resource in providing skilled specialty specific staff. The supervisor is responsible for the hiring, discipline, and other personnel-related activities of staff in the CT departments as well as the Advanced Imaging group. Physician partnership is a key element for this individual''s success.

HOURS: Full-time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period, All shifts

Experience/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of radiology standards and procedures as they relate to CT procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiology school, or an Associate Degree in Radiology.
  • A minimum of three years'' clinical experience as a CT necessary to enhance and develop skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience beneficial.
  • State of Wisconsin Radiography licensure required
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.   • ARRT (CT) certification strongly encouraged.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress, as well as to provide effective leadership for assigned personnel, and to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with various hospital departments.
  • Possesses good communication skills both verbally and in writing. Skills include ability to coach, enroll, counsel and mentor.
