Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging for Vascular Services at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Full-Time/Day Shift

This position requires knowledge of and expertise in performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures used in evaluating vascular disease, as well as the ability to objectively identify the presence of disease. The technologist has the ability to modify procedures, with the approval of the Medical Director, to meet special circumstances to provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis. The technologist will comply with the standards set by the Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) and hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Required qualifications:

  • Associate''s Degree in Noninvasive Vascular Technology
  • Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography, or
  • Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Technologist, or
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years experience working in a Vascular Lab, with history of increasing responsibilities

Preferred qualification:

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Noninvasive Vascular Technology
  • Expertise in Transcranial Doppler studies.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
