Position Description
Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a strong track record of leading technical teams and executing complex utility infrastructure projects? If so, Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking a Supervisor Electrical Engineer to join our team, and we hope you consider applying!
This crucial leadership role sits within SPU's Project Delivery and Engineering Branch (ETSD). You will step into an established, vital position to lead, support, and grow a talented team of professional engineering staff. Your team will deliver new capital projects and provide engineering subject matter expertise across all of SPUs diverse lines of business-including Water, Drainage and Wastewater (DWW), and Solid Waste.

We provide drinking water for 1.5 million customers in the region, manage drainage and wastewater, and oversee garbage/recycling/compost. Workplace Environment (Telework Expectation): This position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Employees are required to come into the office three times a week. Individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.
