    Job Summary and Qualifications

    As an Environmental Services Supervisor you will oversee the daily operations of the environmental services and linen departments, ensure that work is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. Position may include, but is not limited to scheduling, employee relations, hiring, ordering supplies and quality assurance. Actively participates in duties as related to patient needs and functioning of the hospital environment. Performs other job duties as assigned.   

      

    What You Will Do In This Role 

    Responsible for ensuring adequate and competent staffing for the department.  

    Responsible for assisting in the interviewing and/or hiring of qualified staff and managing staff with appropriate management techniques to result in employee engagement scores meeting goals.  

    Responsible for maintaining acceptable turnover with area of responsibility.  

    Responsible for orientation and training of new staff as well as continued education of existing staff in areas of responsibility.  

    Ensures productivity levels meet standards.  

    Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies and operating within the budgetary guidelines.   

    Ensures the services provided by the department meet customer expectations.
