The Supervisor Environmental Services is responsible for supervising the services team to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of healthcare facilities. The role supervises EVS operations, including staff scheduling, training, inventory management, and quality control. The role enforces hospital sanitation standards, supporting compliance with regulatory policies, and fostering a positive work environment through coaching and professional development.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day EVS operations, including staffing, scheduling, and supply management
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and infection control standards, and conduct routine inspections
- Respond to patient, staff, and visitor service concerns professionally
- Lead, coach, and develop EVS staff, supporting hiring, onboarding, and training
- Promote team morale, accountability, and a culture of excellence
- Support policy development, process improvements, and emergency preparedness
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, and vendors for facility and equipment needs
- Track departmental expenses and provide input for budgeting
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in Environmental Services, Housekeeping, or facilities support in healthcare, hospitality, or institutional settings – required
- At least 1 year of team leadership experience, including staff scheduling, task delegation, performance management, and training – preferred
