POSITION TITLE: Supervisor, Global Payroll
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
MAJOR DUTIES:
The Supervisor, Global Payroll, is responsible for overseeing assigned staff and executing complex payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation. This role ensures compliance with regulations and drives payroll process improvements.
Payroll Processing & Administration
Train, coach, evaluate and provide daily guidance to payroll staff processing semi-monthly and monthly global payrolls
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
Audit payroll data and reconcile discrepancies
Lead registration and set up of payroll services in new jurisdictions
Review and approve regular and off-cycle payrolls and adjustments
Maintain and prepare entries, interfaces, reports and reconcilements for the general ledger and org hierarchy structure
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with all applicable withholding, revenue and tax regulations
Lead global payroll tax vendor relationships, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Ensure completion of payroll tax filing (W-2, 941, P11-D etc.)
Lead global payroll SOX audit processes: maintain control definitions, audit responses, control testing
Systems & Process Improvement
Maintain and configure Ceridian Dayforce payroll system
Troubleshoot payroll system issues
Drive automation and efficiency improvements
Support system upgrades and implementations
Serve as payroll SME on projects impacting payroll
Employee Support
Respond to employee payroll inquiries
Research and resolve pay discrepancies
Coordinate, prepare and/or deliver employee training
