Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the management and operations of the Head Start/Early Head Start Center, staffing, and early childhood programming. The Site Supervisor will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory and legal regulations. In addition, The Site Supervisor will work as part of the Management team under the direction of the Assistant Director of Operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and foster relationships with families, staff, and community providers.
Ensure a welcoming, safe, and healthy environment for children and staff.
Supervise staff and assist the Director, Assistant Director, Specialists, and Coordinators in monitoring compliance, supporting instruction, training, counseling, and evaluating staff.
Ensure the tracking of necessary data and provide reports as needed.
Assist administration in implementing practices and requirements to meet Head Start Performance standards and guidelines. Serves as the administrations "voice" in the center.
Assist in the implementation of seamless, integrated services for children and families by adhering to program-specific work plans, policies, and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or a combination of education and related experience.
Three (3) years of successfully supervising staff.
Experience working with school-age children and knowledge of child development and services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and families.
