Expected pay for this position is $26.99 - $31.75/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview:

This job is located in Galesburg,IL

 

M-F 8-430pm

 

Will travel to multiple locations.

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Health Information Management is responsible for daily oversight of Health Information Management (HIM) Departments in accordance with the Manager. The HIM Supervisor will supervise daily activities related to the compiling, processing, and maintaining records of hospital patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in Health Information OR 3 years’ experience in Health Information Management.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management Leadership experience in Health Information Management, supervisor or above. Licensure/Certifications: RHIA, RHIT Working knowledge of electronic medical records.
