Responsibilities/Job Description:
Fairview Health Services has an immediate opening for a Heart Clinic Supervisor. This position is primarily based in Maplewood with required travel to Woodbury. The position is 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) and works Monday through Friday during clinic hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

 

The Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for managing the operations of designated staff. Provides work flow direction and management that is consistent with achieving department and organizational objectives. Other duties include achieving coordination, consistency, and integration in the operation of the clinic site, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assisting in strategic planning and budgeting, and leading and/or participating in improvement projects/teams

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction and leadership to designated staff
  • Actively supports the recruitment, orientation, and promotes the engagement of all designated staff
  • Accountable for initial and ongoing competencies for staff
  • Ensures effective and timely communication of relevant information as appropriate
  • Provides guidance to ensure performance management aspects such as mentoring, coaching, individual development etc. are in place and holds staff accountable to expectations
  • Fosters an environment in which the team holds each other accountable to Fairview behaviors and values
  • Works collaboratively with leadership and other organizational partners to ensure efficient and safe day to day operations of the site(s)
  • Anticipates and responds to physician/provider staffing needs and assures that support staff are appropriately scheduled to maximize efficiency, access and patient demand
  • Performs appropriate due diligence to resolve patient and staff concerns
  • Collaborates with leadership to help collect data through use of reporting in order to analyze, forecast, plan and direct clinic operations
  • Promotes, supports and participates in process improvement, quality initiatives, and innovation
  • Practices as a financial steward; provides input as appropriate related to clinic budget


Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Arts in healthcare, business or related field
  • 1 year demonstrated leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts in healthcare, business or related field
  • 3 years previous supervisory/management experience

 

 

Qualifications:

$28.71- $40.54 Hourly
