Position Summary

  • Coordinates the day-to-day activities of a team of production employees to ensure manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste, and quality standards.
  • Monitors production volume and quality of output; adjusts tasks, timing, equipment setup, or inputs to ensure targets are met and resources are used efficiently.
  • Supervises staff to ensure all production tasks are performed safely and that machines and equipment are operated in accordance with safety standards.
  • Trains new employees on company procedures, operating standards, and safety practices.
  • Responsible for shift-level safety, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepares production reports to identify performance issues and support resolution.
  • Responsible for personnel actions, including (but not limited to) hiring, performance management, and termination.

The functions listed above are not exhaustive and may include other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift 2-11pm

  • Accountable for workforce scheduling, performance management, and input into hiring decisions
  • Exercises sound judgment in resolving day-to-day operational issues
  • Regular interaction with supervisors, leads, team members, and peers
  • Occasional interaction with external contractors or vendors

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of related experience

Preferred

  • Applicable industry or professional certification

Salary Range: $69,279 - $86,598

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
